Maya Turner

Dr. Maya Turner grew up in Ohio and Washington state. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in biology at the University of Washington in Seattle. She then worked at a bird and exotic pet clinic for 2 years before moving back to Ohio to attend veterinary school. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 2023. She recently moved to the Cincinnati area from Columbus, where she worked at a small animal general practice. Dr. Turner has a special interest in exotic pets, soft tissue surgery, preventive care, and client education.

Outside of work, Dr. Turner tends to a full house with her husband Steven, 3 dogs (Goose, Murphy, and Toffee), 3 cats (Gracie, Sagwa, and Sashimi), and guinea pig (Stu). She also loves yoga, musical theater, and listening to true crime podcasts.
