Mikayla Small, DVM

Dr. Mikayla Small grew up in northwest Indiana and graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences. She then returned to Purdue for veterinary school (Boiler Up!), where she graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. After graduation, Dr. Small joined the Hopewell family and has loved getting to know the Cincinnati area. She is passionate about helping pet parents give their animals the best care possible. Preventative care and nutrition are a few of her favorite veterinary interests.

Outside of work, Dr. Small spends her time with fiancé Connor and their goldendoodle Dexter. You can often find Dexter in the doctor’s office at Hopewell “lovingly” (mischievously) playing with his friends Mazie and Tux. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Small enjoys reading, watching episodes of Friends, cheering on FC Cincinnati, and spending time with friends and family.
